Peter Baruch is a Holocaust survivor, who, born to a Jewish family in Poland, was forced to flee the Nazis as a small child. Peter and his parents never saw the rest of their very large family ever again – they all died in the ghetto or concentration camps. The refugee family’s two year journey to safety in New Zealand is a story of survival against overwhelming odds. Peter’s testimony is one that puts Holocaust deniers to shame, and he tells it so we might avoid repeating history.
