Katy Faust is leading the campaign for children’s rights. Children have rights, needs, and must be given a voice. Children have a fundamental right to be known and loved by the two people who made them: their mother and father. It’s a right that’s recognised worldwide. It goes way beyond being “safe and loved.” Children are made for the daily love and involvement of both their biological mother and father.
Katy Faust is a Fulbright scholar and holds undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Asian Studies. In an unusual turn of events, she was able to put her collegiate pursuits to use in the real world when she launched her career with the largest Chinese adoption agency on God’s green earth.
Katy began her public campaign in 2012 to change the tenor of the debate surrounding all things family away from focusing on the desires of adults and toward prioritisation of the rights of children.
Two amicus briefs later, her articles have appeared in USA Today, Public Discourse, and the Federalist. She has lobbied lawmakers in Washington D.C., the United Nations and as far afield as Taiwan and here in Australia.
