Damian was born and raised in Brisbane and recently returned to the city after two decades abroad. He has 20 years’ experience in corporate public relations in Asia Pacific, specializing in executive communications skills training and coaching, issues management and crisis communications. He is the former Managing Director of the Hong Kong and Taiwan businesses of Edelman Public Relations, one of the world’s largest independent PR consultancies. He previously spent 13 years as a senior radio and television journalist in Australia with Network Ten, 3AW Melbourne, 4BC Brisbane and the ABC. Damian was News Director at Brisbane’s Triple M FM104 in the early 90s. He holds an MBA from Australia’s leading business school, and lectured and developed courses in PR and crisis communications for post-graduate students at a leading Hong Kong university.
